Dawn Hutchinson-Stevens (4/11/1946 - 12/5/2012)
Dawn Hutchinson-Stevens was a beautiful woman who cared passionately about her culture. She was involved in the Alaska Native Sisterhood (ANS) and was the local director of the Indian Education Program. Her father was Kiks.adi making her Kiks.adi yadi by birth. Her mother was Aleut but she was eventually adopted into the Kiks.adi Clan by her aunt Marge Byrd. Dawn passed away after a long fight with cancer and is missed all that knew her.
